About Iron Wolf

Owner-operated. New in Naperville. Earning every review.

Iron Wolf Garage Door is a new shop, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we are is a fully licensed, insured, owner-operated garage door business in Naperville — one truck, one owner, and a plan to earn our reputation on the work itself. When you call, you talk to the person who will be at your house. When we quote, the number is written down before we start.

Who runs Iron Wolf

One owner. One truck. The person who answers the phone is the person doing the work.

Owner: [Owner Name]

Trained as a garage door technician before starting Iron Wolf, with a background repairing and installing residential and light-commercial doors across the Chicago metro. Started Iron Wolf to run the shop the way I always thought it should be run — one job at a time, one honest quote at a time.

What that means for you

You are not being handed off between a dispatcher, a call-taker, and a rotating crew of subcontractors. The person who diagnoses the door is the person who repairs it and the person who stands behind the warranty. If something is not right after the visit, you call the same number and the same person answers.

Why start with a new shop

Because a one-truck owner-operator is the version of the trade with the fewest layers between you and the work. No sales quotas rolling down from a call center, no rotating techs learning the job on your door, no incentive to sell you replacements when a repair will do. Just one person who wants five-star reviews more than the next upsell.

How we earn the first hundred customers

Honest quotes, small first-visit discounts for early customers, and a genuine ask for a Google review afterward if the work was good. We are building the review count in public — no fake testimonials, no purchased reviews. If you leave one, it will be your name and your words.

How visits work

What a homeowner should expect from the appointment.

Diagnosis first

Balance, spring tension, tracks, rollers, hinges, cables, safety sensors, and opener behavior — all checked before we recommend any parts.

Photos before parts

When a part has failed, we show it to you and explain what happened before the repair is approved.

Written estimate

The number is reviewed before work starts, including labor and the parts being installed. No parts come off the truck until you sign off.

Test cycle together

When the job is done, the door is cycled, the work is reviewed, and the warranty is handed over in writing.

Credentials & coverage

Licensed, insured, and set up to do this the right way.

Being new does not mean being informal. Iron Wolf is set up as a proper Illinois business with the licensing, insurance, and paperwork required to work on residential doors and openers safely and legally.

License

State of Illinois — License #[LICENSE NUMBER]. Displayed on the truck and provided in writing on request.

Insurance

General liability coverage in force at all times. Certificate of insurance available on request before the appointment.

Warranty policy

Written parts-and-labor warranty on every repair and installation. Reviewed with the homeowner before the job closes out.

Service area

Naperville-based, running twelve western-suburb cities as the routine dispatch. Nearby addresses outside that list — call anyway, we usually cover them.

Quote and payment policy

The small details that usually create friction are handled up front.

New door estimates are free. Repair appointments may include a diagnostic fee, and that fee is credited toward approved work when the repair moves forward. Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted.

Free install estimates

Replacement-door consultations are quoted without a fee so you can compare door styles, insulation, and hardware calmly.

Credited diagnostic work

Repair diagnostics are meant to lead to a real answer, not to trap you in a second conversation about price.

Warranty follow-through

Repairs and installations are backed by written parts-and-labor coverage that is reviewed before the job is closed out.
